With over 150+ class offering each year, we definitely have something to help you up your knowledge factor and grow your business.
State-of-the-Art Training/Event Facilities – The NEW SMDRA Headquarters building will host a state-of-the-art facility that combines the latest technology with a comfortable environment that can host a wide variety of training classes, speakers and events. Our new event center will hold 150+ people, with access to indoor and outdoor facilities. The outdoor patio has a fireplace, gas grill and pergola. The Training Room has tiered theater style seating which can host classes of 50+. This allows us to not only offer traditional classroom training but also enables us to provide a more interactive and collaborative setting with class offerings, webinars, and industry-related speakers. The SMDRA Headquarters building is filled with many state of the art features, including a tiered training center room that has built in Zoom capabilities, an Event Center that also has built in Zoom capabilities and technology to host a wide assortment of events and classes. A video green room, complete with a Tricaster Video System, a fully stocked REALTOR store, Tenants in real estate related businesses, the building is Wi-Fi enabled and beautiful spaces to come meet your clients/co-workers and much, much more. Professional Development – Opportunities that take your career to the next level, through a variety of nationally recognized Certifications and Designations. SMDRA is proud to offer a comprehensive education program that provides our REALTOR® members with the knowledge they need to succeed. Leadership Academy – The SMDRA Leadership Academy program was developed to increase participation in and understanding of the three levels of the REALTOR® organization, increased community involvement including state and local government, and increased exposure to the local business community. ALL designed to develop future Association leaders.
Professional Standards – We offer more than 150 class sessions annually with dozens of topics ranging from contracts to property marketing to social media. The majority of course offerings are CAR/NAR Continuing Education and Broker Training approved. We also offer additional classes taught by industry experts on such topics as financing, title, and home inspection. With a commitment to classes being efficiently run and scheduled at convenient times, the curriculum is continually updated to provide the most relevant content in the shortest amount of time.
