DUES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE – NO EXCEPTIONS!
ALL DUES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE once they have been remitted. Payments to the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes; however, they may be deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. Seek information and guidance from and rely upon the advice of your tax expert and not SMDRA. SMDRA does not charge an application fee.

CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve passed your real estate exam, NOW WHAT?

Here’s a quick guide to next steps:

  •  Interview brokerages to determine which is the best fit for you. Every brokerage has a different structure and culture.
  • Once your license is hung at a brokerage, it’s time to choose a local REALTOR® association.  You may belong to any Association your managing broker belongs to. Research the benefits and resources that make the most sense to you. 
  • Did you choose SMDRA?  Simply apply online (above) and submit your application.
  • Contact your Multiple Listing Service, REcolorado, to get your MLS subscription started. REALTORS® pay a lower monthly fee and the initiation fee is waived.
  • Take New Member Ethics & Orientation within 90 days of joining.
  • As easy as that you are a part of SMDRA, the Colorado Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
