SMDRA Members Earn the SMART Designation
More than 100 REALTOR® members of the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association (SMDRA) have earned the highly regarded SMART designation recognizing the successful completion of stringent real estate courses. The SMART (South Metro Advanced Realtor Training) designation sets real estate professionals apart from the mainstream and is regarded as a symbol of a designees’ dedication to the pursuit of higher standards, which is a key mission of SMDRA.
The SMART Designation is designed to reward and provide recognition to SMDRA REALTOR members who have earned at least 24 SMART points throughout 2021. Points were awarded to classes, including those that did not qualify for Continuing Education credit. Attendance was tracked throughout the year. The 104 SMART designees receive a logo for their personal email signature, a media advertising packet, a printable certificate, and a SMART label pin.
“SMART is part of a larger effort to a commitment of excellence that sets the REALTOR brand apart,” said Barb Riley, SMDRA’s Chairman of the Board. “Our association is dedicated to the pursuit of higher standards for all of our REALTOR members. The SMART designation is a reward for our members who go above and beyond the minimum education requirements. The real estate industry is constantly changing, and REALTORS need to continuously increase their knowledge of the industry and stay abreast of the changes that affect their business and their home buying and selling clients. SMART is another step in this direction. Education is vital to our members’ careers, and the more you learn the more you earn.”
