For the last 4 years Metro Districts have been a hot topic in real estate and in the State Legislature. This class will help real estate agents more deeply understand what Metro Districts are and how they impact homebuyers and current homeowners that already live in a Metro District. Real estate agents will learn how to find information about each Metro District in Colorado on the DOLA website to share with their clients. This class will provide tips and ideas to help inform and protect both homebuyers who are looking at new or existing homes in Metro Districts and current homeowners who live in Metro Districts.

• What Metro Districts are and why we have them.
• 2 types of debt issued by Metro Districts and which debt is most concerning
• New disclosures for builders and Senate Bill 23-110 “The Transparency Bill”.
• How homebuyers and homeowners can protect themselves and get involved.
• Where you and homebuyers and homeowners can discover info about every Metro District in our State and a review of every tab on the DOLA website for one Metro District.
