To select and honor a SMDRA Member/real estate professional who truly goes above and beyond to protect the REALTOR brand through selfless dedication and years of service, and who truly carries on the legacy of Oliver Frascona.

Oliver Frascona served as our Association Attorney for over thirty years. He was not only a good man, but a great man, a great leader, a teacher, a mentor, and to all of us, a dear friend.

Throughout his long and brilliant career, he worked tirelessly to promote and protect the REALTOR “R”. This was a man who truly “bled the REALTOR blue”, a man who was dedicated to the highest pursuit of excellence, for whom anything less than the best would simply not be tolerated.

This award shall be made each year at the Diamond Circle Awards of the Association by the previous year’s recipient.

• REALTOR^® Spirit – High principles, faithfulness to laws and regulations of the Code of Ethics and the Member Board, and furtherance of principles of good real estate practice along with the respect and admiration of fellow REALTORS® and the general public.
• Civic Activity – Recognized Leadership and/or participation in local, state, and national service clubs, civic and charitable activities, political activities, fraternal and/or religious groups, etc.
• Member Association Activities – Local Association offices held, committee leadership and work, special assignments, including involvement in the state and national associations, if any.

The Selection Committee shall call its first meeting during the first part of March to begin the selection process. Any nominations made by members of the Association must be submitted before March 1^st.
