SMDRA’s 2025 Holiday Brunch & Toy Drive: A Season of Heart, Hustle, and Holiday Magic
If there’s one thing our REALTOR® community knows how to do, it’s show up with heart, humor, and a few thousand toys in tow.
This year’s Holiday Brunch & Toy Drive was nothing short of spectacular. From festive mimosas and packed tables to overflowing donation bins and the grand finale toy drop-off, our members proved once again that SMDRA is a force for good in the Denver Metro community.

✨ Holiday Brunch: Food, Fun, and Full Hearts
On Friday, December 5th, more than 120 REALTOR and Affiliate Members, Friends and Family gathered for our annual Holiday Brunch one of SMDRA’s most beloved year-end traditions.
Santa made his big entrance (and took hundreds of photos), the hot breakfast hit the spot, and the holiday spirit was contagious. Our members didn’t just show up; they showed out, bringing piles of toys, gift cards, and donations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
By the end of brunch, every donation box was bursting at the seams… and so were our hearts. By our calculations, we collected over $10,000 of toys, gift cards and monetary donations.
🚚 Toy Drop-Off Day: Organized Chaos at Its Finest
Fast-forward to drop-off day, and it was a scene worthy of its own holiday movie.
Volunteers streamed in, toy by toy, bag by bag, helping load thousands of toys onto the delivery truck. Laughter, teamwork, and a whole lot of “Okay, where does THIS one go?” filled the crisp December air. It was busy, loud, joyful and absolutely incredible to witness.
We were also proud to be joined by Denver CBS Channel 4, where SMDRA President Shelby Foster shared our mission live on-air. Her interview spotlighted our long-standing partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and the impact this event has on local kids and families.
And YES, the truck was packed tighter than Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve. 🎁🛷
