CLASS DESCRIPTION: This class will cover the Colorado Real Estate Commission’s rule on competence as well as the various areas of competency in real estate transactions. Each real estate transaction has it’s own subtleties and unique features. Included are what areas are outside of the licensee’s area of competency and specifically areas they are not allowed to advise the consumer. Areas of competency include:

 • Residential real estate
 • Income or commercial property
 • Geographic
 • Vacant land
 • Farm and ranch
 • New construction
 • Property management
 • Manufactured/modular homes
