The Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification is conferred by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. The certification is awarded to REALTORS® who meet specific educational and practical experience criteria. It is designed to elevate and enhance negotiation skills so that today’s real estate professionals can play the game to win.
To obtain the RENE Certification:
- Complete the 2-day course (Required to receive Colorado CE credit)
- Day 1: “The Power Negotiator’s Playbook”
- Day 2: “Advanced Field Negotiations”
- Submit the application with a one-time $159 credentialing fee.
- No annual membership or dues required
- Maintain active membership with the National Association of REALTORS® (exception: International members)

He has been the Director of Education for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage since 2000 and taught the CRS Listing Strategies class since 2004.
