ABR – The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is designed for real estate buyer agents who focus on working directly with buyer-clients and allows real estate buyer agents to enhance their skills and gain a competitive edge in the market.
ABRM – The Accredited Buyer Representative Manager (ABRM®) designation is designed for Broker Owners and Managers who wish to incorporate buyer representation into their daily practice.
AHWD – At Home with Diversity Certification course teaches real estate professionals to increase their sensitivity and adaptability to future market trends while addressing issues of diversity, fair housing and cultural differences.
ALC – The esteemed Accredited Land Consultants are the most trusted, knowledgeable, experienced, and highest-producing experts in all segments of land. Conferred by the REALTORS® Land Institute, the designation requires successful completion of a rigorous LANDU education program and adherence to an honorable Code of Conduct.
BPOR – Broker Price Opinion Resource Certificate holders will be qualified to render Broker Price Opinions. The one day certification course provides REALTORS® with knowledge and skills to reduce risk and increase opportunities to create professional and accurate BPOs.
CBR – Certified Buyer Representatives obtain the skills necessary to effectively represent home buyers. The Certified Buyer Representative designation is the first nationally recognized Buyer Agency Designation sponsored by REALTOR® Boards & Associations Nationwide.
CCIM – Certified Commercial Investment designation is commercial real estate’s global standard for professional achievement, earned through an extensive curriculum of 200 classroom hours and professional experiential requirement and it’s members are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, valuation and investment analysis.
CDPE – A Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) has a thorough understanding of complex issues in real estate and knowledge of foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners providing solutions, specifically short sales, for homeowners facing market hardships.
CIPS – The CIPS® designation prepares REALTORS® to service the growing international market in their local community by focusing on culture, exchange rates, investment trends, and legal issues. The program includes five full days of study focusing on the critical aspects of international real estate transactions, and an influential network of 2,000 professionals who turn to each other first when looking for referral partners.
CNE – One of the top designation courses in real estate taught nationally, this 2-day course offers professional negotiation and business building training. The Certified Negotiation Expert also learns professional negotiation and business building training.
CPM – Certified Property Management designees are thoroughly trained in all facets of real estate management skills and are recognized as experts in real estate management. Holding this designation demonstrates expertise and integrity to employers, owners, and investors.
CRB – The Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) is one of the most respected and relevant designations offered in real estate business management and is awarded to REALTORS® who have completed advanced educational and professional requirements. CRB Designees are better positioned to streamline operations, integrate new technology and apply new trends and business strategies.
CRE – The Counselors of Real Estate® is an international group of recognized professionals who provide seasoned, expert, objective advice on real property and land-related matters. Only 1,100 practitioners throughout the world carry the CRE® designation. Membership is by invitation only.
CRS – The Council of Certified Residential Specialist Designation gives residential real estate professionals the tools they need to be successful in any market delivering the education, resources and connections agents need to achieve their goals.
ePro – The most up to date real estate technology training allows agents to Expand their digital skills to connect with online markets. The new e-PRO® curriculum shows you how to use the latest social media technologies, to create an online presence vital in reaching today’s hyper-connected consumers. NAR’s e-PRO® certification also teaches you how to take advantage of rich media and e-office strategies to run your business more efficiently.
GAA – The General Accredited Appraiser designation is awarded to appraisers whose education and experience exceed state appraisal certification requirements and is supported by the National Association of REALTORS®.
GREEN – Through NAR’s Green Designation, the Green REsource Council provides ongoing education, resources and tools so that real estate practitioners can successfully seek out, understand, and market properties with green features.
GRI – Earning the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is a way to stand out to prospective home buyers and sellers as a REALTOR® who has gained in-depth market knowledge, increased proficiency in a broad array of subjects to enhance professionalism and business success. This designation is ideal for those new to the real estate industry.
IREM – The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) is an international community of real estate managers dedicated to ethical business practices, maximizing the value of investment real estate, and promoting superior management through education and information sharing.
MRP – Military Relocation Professional Certification. This course focuses on educating real estate professionals about working with current and former military service members to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and take full advantage of military benefits and support.
Performance Management Network. This designation is unique to the REALTOR® family designations, emphasizing that in order to enhance your business, you must enhance yourself. It focuses on negotiating strategies and tactics, networking and referrals, business planning and systems, personal performance management and leadership development.

RAA – The Residential Accredited Appraiser. For residential appraisers, this designation is awarded to those whose education and experience exceed state appraisal certification requirements and is supported by the National Association of REALTORS®.
RCE – The REALTOR® Association Certified Executive is open to full time employees of a local or state Association of REALTORS® dedicated to the field of association management and recognized for specialized industry knowledge and experience.
RSPS – The Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) has been provided to better serve the growing second-home and resort real estate market and is provided by the National Association of REALTORS.
SFR – The Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification, gives agents a framework for understanding how to work with the short sales and foreclosure process, negotiate with lenders, protect buyers and direct clients to finance, tax and legal assistance.
SIOR – The Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® are top producers in industrial and office real estate brokerage and represent today’s most knowledgeable, experienced and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists.
SRES – The Senior Real Estate Specialist Designation educations REALTORS® on how to profitably and ethically serve the real estate needs of the fastest growing market in real estate, clients age 50+.
