Eligibility for 4 Under 40 REALTORS®

Every hopeful candidate must be a PRIMARY OR SECONDARY SMDRA REALTOR® member in good standing. They must be UNDER the age of 40 as of January 1, 2023, and they also need to submit the online application.

VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Video link must be in a VIMEO or YOUTUBE format and link included with supporting documents uploaded in the online application.

Keep video length to 3 minutes

Choose three (3) items below to discuss in your video submission:

1. What has been your greatest challenge in real estate and how did you overcome it?
2. Describe your involvement in local, state and national REALTOR® organizations.
3. Describe any leadership positions you have held.
4. What was your RPAC investment for 2021?
5. How are you involved in your community? Describe your charitable involvement.
6. How would you describe how you have demonstrated a commitment to real estate and the advancement of our industry?

OPTIONAL:
Add any pertinent information we have missed to explain why you feel you deserve to be named one of SMDRA’s 4 Under 40 in Real Estate.

ESSAY QUESTIONS:
The application will ask you to answer the following questions:

1. Why did you decide to obtain your Real Estate License?
2. If you were the President of the National Association of REALTORS®, what changes would you try to implement in the real estate industry?

• MUST be received by the FEBRUARY 10, 2023 DEADLINE
• Late submissions will not be accepted.

The application will ask you to choose 2 of the 3 remaining topics from above, and discuss them in an essay format.
